Life in Winnipeg

Well, I'm most of the way through my training, and it's no where near as tough as the first course that I took. It's kinda nice to see that that knowing the basics fairly well is paying off big time. It's nice to know that I actually did some learning inbetween courses. The huge downside to all of this, is that I've been away from my wife for a while, that's been really tough on me. I can't wait until I'm home, and can sleep in my own bed again. Anyways, that's all from waterpeg.

It might just become a habit

Hey look a second post in a month...I know whodathunkit. Anyways...excitement is building as things are working out slick so far for my Winnipeg trip. I get to see some friends that I haven't seen in ages, I get to spend a weekend with my inlaws, and I hopefully won't get stranded in the Calgary airport again. So yeah, I'm getting excited.

Things are looking up...again

Well here we go, I'm off to another level of Hydraulics training in a couple of weeks. I'm sure that my brain will be absolutely fried beyond belief after that. But it will be all good, as I will be the first official level 2 hydraulics person in our stores history, so I feel pretty good about that.

I also just got a new computer and after a lot of troubles getting it running, I'm loving it. I don't know how I managed with a P3 733 for so long, but I did. Yep it's a thing of computing beauty.

The Flames are looking to be top of their division for the playoff run which is a good thing. The other good thing is that they aren't first overall, which actually is a bad thing statistically speaking. Just look up when the 1st place overall team won the Stanely Cup.

Oh yeah, and City of Heroes and Villians are two great games. If you like to design your own super heroe or villian, these are for you. I just can't get over how much fun I'm having with these games. Really truely check them out for yourself.
